Tips for Effective Money Management.

.Make a list of the things you want to buy or spend on, prioritise and stick to your decision

.Forget about the saying ‘Too many cooks spoil the broth’, as long as it cuts your expenses of eating out.

.When you go for outstation trips, carry food and drinks from home or try your hand at cooking a scrumptious meal.

.When you treat your date, impress her with something innovative rather than luxurious.

.Use pre-paid cards for your mobile phone. You can keep a track of your balance with every call.

.When you are discussing sports or movies, make a bet and if you win, ask for something you always wanted.

.On birthdays and occasions, instead of each person buying separate gifts for a buddy, pool in to buy a great gift.

.Don't be fooled by sales. You risk buying something you never needed in the first place.

.Try to control impulse buying. When you get tempted to buy things that aren’t on the list, think of your savings goals or items you are saving money for.

.Make a diary in which you keep a record of what you spend for a week/month. You can use it to keep a track of where the majority of your money goes.

Happy Savings.
